Class-Act Security Protection & Training Academy was founded by Wanda Turner, a public safety professional with more than 26 years of experience in security, law enforcement, corrections, investigations, and education.

The vision for Class-Act Security began in 1996 when Wanda Turner entered the security profession as a security officer with Big Boy Security. Determined to expand her knowledge and experience, she advanced into corrections, serving as a Correctional Officer with Phillips State Prison. She later continued her law enforcement career with MARTA Police and subsequently served as a Criminal Investigator with the Fulton County District Attorney's Office for approximately ten years.

Throughout her career, Wanda Turner remained committed to training and public service. She served as an instructor with the Fulton County Police Academy and later became a Law and Public Safety Instructor for the Newton County School System and Fulton County School System, where she earned her teaching certification. Her law enforcement experience also includes service with the Fulton County Sheriff's Office, Morehouse School of Medicine, and Spelman College.

Although the company was established in 2008, Class-Act Security became fully operational in 2019 when Wanda Turner dedicated her efforts to building a security services and training organization founded on professionalism, integrity, and excellence. The company's mission is to provide high-quality security solutions while creating career opportunities for individuals who are committed to protecting people, property, and communities.

One of the company's most significant achievements was becoming a government-approved training academy authorized to provide education and training opportunities for veterans utilizing their GI Bill benefits. As a state-certified training academy, Class-Act Security ensures that officers receive the training and certifications required by the State of Georgia.

In December 2020, Class-Act Security was awarded a major contract with a premier restaurant in Midtown Atlanta. The contract required staffing seven to ten security officers seven days per week. Through outstanding performance and dependable service, the company continues to serve this client today.

Since then, Class-Act Security has successfully managed both long-term and short-term contracts throughout Georgia. The company currently services multiple retail, commercial, residential, religious, and hospitality locations and has developed extensive expertise in recruiting, training, supervising, and managing security personnel across multiple sites.

Class-Act Security has provided services for a variety of clients, including hotels, restaurants, retail establishments, residential communities, churches, event venues, and commercial properties. Through each assignment, the company has maintained its commitment to professionalism, accountability, and customer satisfaction.

Headquartered in Lawrenceville, Georgia, Class-Act Security Protection & Training Academy has established itself as a trusted provider of comprehensive security services. The company offers unarmed security officers, mobile patrol services, event security, access control, loss prevention, executive protection, and risk management solutions.

In addition to security services, the company operates a state-approved training academy that provides security officer certification, firearms training, de-escalation training, customer service training, and professional development programs for security professionals, law enforcement personnel, and civilians. The organization also offers private investigative services through Ground Zero Investigations, also known as Class-Act Private Investigative Services.
